You can choose from different campaign types based on where you want your ads to appear:
- Search Ads: Appear in Google search results.
- Display Ads: Appear on websites within Google’s Display Network.
- Shopping Ads: Showcase product listings.
- Video Ads: Appear on YouTube.
- App Ads: Promote apps across Google’s platforms.
Step 3: Define Target Audience
Set preferences based on:
- Location: Where you want your ads to be shown geographically.
- Language: The language your target audience speaks.
- Demographics: Target by age, gender, and other factors.
- Interests & Behaviors: Focus on people based on what they’ve searched for or interacted with online.
Step 4: Set Budget and Bidding
- Daily Budget: The amount you’re willing to spend per day on the campaign.
- Bidding Strategy: Decide whether to manually set bids for clicks (CPC), impressions (CPM), or use automated bidding based on goals (like maximizing conversions).
Step 5: Create Ad Groups and Keywords
- Ad Groups: Organize your ads by theme or product.
- Keywords: Select relevant keywords that trigger your ad when users search for them on Google.
Step 6: Write Ads
- Headline: Use attention-grabbing headlines (you can add up to three).
- Description: Write compelling descriptions that describe your offer.
- URL: Enter the landing page URL where users will go after clicking on the ad.
Step 7: Set Up Conversion Tracking
- Install Conversion Tag: Add a small piece of code on your website or app to track when users complete specific actions like making a purchase or signing up for a newsletter.
Step 8: Review and Launch
- Review your campaign settings and ads, then click “Publish” to launch.
After setting up your campaign, you can continuously monitor and optimize performance using tools like reports, performance data, and A/B testing in the Google Ads dashboard
